Queenstown newborn photographer, mama of three, and professional baby whisperer.

I’ve been photographing newborns and families professionally for over 14 years, and in that time I’ve learnt that the most powerful images aren’t always the perfectly posed ones—they’re the ones filled with real connection, love, and fleeting moments you’ll never get back.

As a mum of three myself, I know how fast those baby days pass. One minute you're settling into life with a newborn, and the next you’re cheering from the sidelines of gymnastics, dance, or ice hockey. (Ask me how I know!) Photography became my way of holding onto those moments. And now, it’s my absolute privilege to help other families do the same - preserving their story with honesty, warmth, and heart.

My own little circus (a.k.a. My Family)

We’re a lively bunch, and there’s never a quiet moment in our Queenstown home. I’m mum to:

• Noah, my teen who holds his ground as a focused and fearless ice hockey goalie
• Harper-Rose, our powerhouse gymnast who’s always flipping or stretching somewhere
• Lottie, the dancer with big expressions and even bigger dreams

Life in our house is full of activity - early morning trainings, dance rehearsals, quick dinners between sessions, and lots of cheering from the sidelines. It’s real, messy, and wonderful - and it’s shaped the way I photograph families: with patience, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the in-between moments. These three (along with my husband Steve) have shaped the way I work. I get what it means to be in the thick of it as a parent, and I bring that understanding to every session - especially when things feel a little chaotic. It’s all part of the magic.

What lights me up during a session...

My sessions are baby-led, relaxed, and filled with moments you’ll want to remember forever. I create a calm, supportive space—whether that’s in my purpose-built natural light studio or out in the beautiful Queenstown landscape. As a trained breastfeeding peer counsellor,  I also bring an extra layer of empathy and care for new mothers. Whether you’re nursing, bottle feeding, or navigating the early days with uncertainty - I see you, I support you, and I’ll make sure your experience is one that leaves you feeling confident and celebrated. Nothing makes me happier than capturing the real stuff: the crinkled noses, the cheeky giggles, the tender looks between you and your babies. Those are the moments you’ll treasure most.
